Dr Wake is often described by his patients as attentive and calm. He understands that surgery may be a major event in your life and he takes the time to explain your options clearly, ensuring you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
After living and working across Australia, Dr Wake chose to settle in Hobart to be close to family and enjoy our unique Tasmanian lifestyle. To relax you’ll likely find him on the golf course, fishing or at home perfecting his latest batch of lacto-fermented hot sauce.

Lorna brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and business leadership to our team.
Lorna began her career as an Optometrist, graduating with Honours from the University of Manchester. This clinical background means she understands the patient experience from the inside out and she knows that healthcare is about more than just procedures, it’s about trust and comfort.
Lorna is proud to call Hobart home. As a mother of three young children, she balances her professional life with the joys (and chaos!) of family. Her commitment to the Tasmanian community is driven by our goal of providing the kind of high-quality, local care she would want for her own family.
