Dr. Rudyard Wake is an Australian-trained General Surgeon who believes that the best surgical outcomes start with a thorough and calm conversation.
Dr Wake's path to surgery began with a Bachelor of Biotechnology, giving him a deep understanding of the science behind healing. Since graduating from Flinders Medical School in 2009, he has spent over a decade training in world-class hospitals across Sydney, Darwin and Canberra.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), he has completed advanced post-graduate training in Colorectal and Emergency Surgery. When he isn't in his private practice at Rosny, he serves as a Staff Specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital and helps train the next generation of doctors at UTAS.
